A second teenager has died a week after the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed in Manorville. Suffolk County police said 17-year-old Tyrese Ramseur of Bellport was riding in a Mitsubishi that hit a tree on North Street near the corner of South Street on May 20. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said Friday. A second passenger, 17-year-old Isaiah Perez of Shirley, was pronounced dead at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue on the night of the crash, police have said. Suffolk County police said Diane Aluska and her daughter, Jenna, were walking on the sidewalk on South Wellwood Avenue when they were struck by a Toyota Corolla that was backing out of a parking spot at 9:10 a.m. Sunday. A 29-year-old Coram man was killed in a motorcycle crash in North Bellport on Friday afternoon. Suffolk County police said Dayquon Boykins was riding his motorcycle southbound in the northbound lanes of Station Road while passing other motorists when he crashed into a Honda Odyssey minivan that was making a left turn into a parking lot near the corner of north of Woodside Avenue at 4:18 p.m. The victim was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. Suffolk County police are investigating an armed home invasion in Coram last week in which the victim was pistol-whipped, authorities said. Two men armed with handguns forced their way into an Idaho Court home, demanded money from the victim, who they forced onto the floor and hit in the back of the head with the gun at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, April 30, police said. The gunmen fled with cash and the victim was treated for his injury at Stony Brook University Hospital. There were neither any arrests nor descriptions of the suspects.
