(Reuters) – Uber suspended its pilot program for driverless cars on Saturday after a vehicle equipped with the nascent technology crashed on an Arizona roadway, the ride-hailing company and local police said. The accident, the latest involving a self-driving vehicle operated by one of several companies experimenting with autonomous vehicles, caused no serious injuries, Uber said. Even so, the company said it was grounding driverless cars involved in a pilot program in Arizona, Pittsburgh and San Francisco pending the outcome of investigation into the crash on Friday evening in Tempe. “We are continuing to look into this incident,” an Uber spokeswoman said in an email. BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) — A man died after he accidentally fell out a window in Brooklyn early Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 900 block of Metropolitan Avenue where there was an unconscious man in front of a building. According to the New York City Police Department, the man, identified as Tyler Wyatt, 21, of Brooklyn, was unresponsive with trauma to the body. A Manhattan man was convicted Thursday of killing a 32-year-old Brooklyn man in West Babylon nearly a decade ago. A Suffolk County jury found Daniel Greenspan guilty of second-degree murder. Police have said the 30-year-old shot Michael Sinclair to death on Kellum Street on Jan. 31, 2009. Officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds after responding to a 911 call reporting shots fired, police have said. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he died. Greenspan was arrested in December 2015. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced on April 27 by Judge William Condon.

Around 8:30 p.m., Suffolk County Police Department went to check on the welfare of Wayne Booker, 54, who lived on Iroquois Avenue in Farmingville. Police say the man was posing as a utility worker when he knocked on the door of Elmwood Park Mayor Robert Colletti, who immediately knew something was off about the visitor.
