Lauri Spitz and her husband Matt are the force behind Moustache Brewing Co. Nowhere on LI has this growth been more apparent than in Riverhead, which is home to five breweries with another three planning to open this year. One of the fastest growing is Moustache Brewing Co., which first opened on Hallett Avenue in 2014.... Read More

But the question also makes me concerned that some people think of the middle of America as one large, monolithic swath of land.I bring this up because as VentureBeat is putting together its lineup for our inaugural BLUEPRINT conference, I’ve been heartened to see how many companies are finding succes... The following day, Andrew Anglin, the Daily Stormer’s founder, published an article about Heyer titled “Woman Killed in Road Rage Incident was a Fat, Childless 32-Year-Old Slut.” Hours later, GoDaddy, one of the Web’s largest domain registrars, announced that it was cancelling the Daily Stormer’s service. Have you ever been to a party where the conversation turns to divorce? Putting the gossip aside, as a matrimonial lawyer, I am often surprised at the many misconceptions that remain prevalent regarding the divorce process in New York and how ingrained those misconceptions are in the common psyche. For example, you might hear one of your friends saying “she caught him cheating, so she’s going to take him to the cleaners.” One thing simply has nothing to do with the other. While the proliferation of these myths could be the ongoing influence of pop culture or simply a friend whispering in their ear, this and many other misconceptions are commonplace and, whether or not they were true at one point in history, no longer apply to the mo... Brady, a fast-talking chemist in his late 40s who sports a graying buzz cut and rimless glasses, has a wry, self-deprecating humor that belies the single-minded determination of his quest. He walks along restlessly. Near the lake, we head up a rock slope and into a secluded area. Brady bends over and picks up a pinch of dusty soil. “Out of that bit of soil,” he says, “you can get en...
