An accused drunken driver was arrested for allegedly hitting and killing an elderly married couple in Massapequa Park on Saturday night, Nassau County police said. John Hartwig, 63, of Massapequa, was driving a Ford Explorer eastbound on Merrick Road when he struck the man and woman, both 77 years old, just east of Park Boulevard at 8:10 p.m., police said.
