Two men were arrested for their alleged roles in killing a 37-year-old man in the victim’s hometown of Hempstead five months ago, Nassau County police said. Pedro Rivera, 23, and 18-year-old Hector Lazo, both also of Hempstead, were arrested Tuesday on charges of second-degree murder. Seerojnie Ram, a/k/a Seerojnie Mohan, 49, pleaded guilty before Judge Robert Bogle to Scheme to Defraud in the First Degree (an E felony). The gas stations were also convicted, according to New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Acting Commissioner of Taxation and Finance Nonie Manion.
